Ghanaian hiplife group Praye have confirmed their comeback as a group in the music industry, saying they are here to stay forever. They started as individual artistes and later merged as a group because of the Nescafe Africa Revelation held some years ago.

They, however, broke away in 2013 after a misunderstanding ensued between them. The group have been back for just over a year now and have released two singles titled Kpotoo and Christina. Speaking exclusively to, Praye Tietia disclosed that they are back for good and looking forward to giving their fans what they deserve.

“We are back and to show our fans that we are really back, we chose a record label or an emblem that supersedes all that has happened in the past. “We can assure our fans that we are back and will be doing music forever and if we are to break up now then it means none of us will do any song again.”

According to Praye Tintin, a lot of thought was put into the group’s decision to make a comeback, stating the hard work they put in to make ‘Praye’ a music force in the country some years back as one of the reasons for the decision.

“We were once there and time took us away to do our solo things which didn’t work so we are back now with full force to keep the fire burning so people should expect more,” he added.

He said, “I play my own beats and I play good beats which I think is a plus to the group and the future is bright and clear. “We know our fans have missed us and it’s obvious there is a lot more work to be done so they should expect good music from us”.

Rapper Kanye West was reported on Tuesday to be undergoing a spiritual crisis after being hospitalized for exhaustion following the cancellation of the remainder of his U.S. tour.

West’s reality star wife, Kim Kardashian, pulled out of an expected appearance in New York on Monday night to be with her husband, who was taken to a Los Angeles hospital after police responded to a call for help, U.S. media reported.

Representatives for the 39 year-old musician did not return calls for comment on Tuesday on how long West was expected to remain in the hospital. He was hospitalized after a series of rants and concert cancellations in California last week.

A source close to the “Jesus Walks” singer told People magazine on Tuesday that West was dealing with exhaustion and sleep deprivation as well as a wider spiritual crisis.

“He feels like he’s under spiritual attack, and has been for a while,” the source told People.

“Sometimes, darkness creeps in, and Kanye wrestles against it. He talks about that a lot. It’s exhausting, and it takes everything he’s got. He’s just so tired now; he’s very low energy and feels like there’s a grieving in his spirit. It’s very hard to explain, but something has happened recently, where he’s not the ‘Ye that everyone knows,” the source added.

“‘Ye’ is a nickname for West.

His mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, told celebrity outlet Extra on Monday night that the singer was “just really tired. He’s had a grueling tour and it’s been a grind, so he just needs to rest.”

Celebrities rallied around West.

“Praying for Kanye. Praying he has the right energy surrounding him during this time. Sending peace and love,” singer and actress Janelle Monae posted on Twitter.

Actor Marlon Wayans tweeted “And I hope u all pray for @kanyewest too. He’s not just an artist but he’s a father, a son a husband and above human. Get well soon.”

West, who was promoting his current album “The Life of Pablo,” made headlines last week when he was booed at his San Jose, California, concert for declaring his support for U.S. President-elect Donald Trump.

He canceled a concert in Los Angeles at the last minute on Sunday, and on Saturday walked off stage in Sacramento, California, after 30 minutes during which he took aim at Beyonce, Jay Z, the media, and the music industry in general.

US rapper Kanye West has been hospitalised following an emergency services call, media reports say.

A police spokesperson told the BBC they had received a “disturbance call” on Monday afternoon, but did not name the singer.

The disturbance was later deemed a medical incident, he said, and the fire department responded.

A spokesman for the LA Fire Department said an unnamed man had been taken to hospital for “further assessment”.

“At 13:20 pacific time, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to an unspecified medical aid request,” a spokesperson for the service said.

“An adult male described as medically stable was taken to an area hospital for further assessment.”

West’s current tour had been cancelled following an outburst at the weekend

Further details of the incident varied in conflicting reports from multiple news sources.

NBC News said officers had been responding to a “medical welfare call” and the decision to hospitalise West was for his own health and safety, citing “multiple authorities familiar with the case”.

Gossip website TMZ said that West was taken to hospital for “psychiatric evaluation” and had been seeking treatment for “severe sleep deprivation”.

The Los Angeles Times reported that there had been a 911 call from the address, citing a fire department source.

Neither West nor his representatives have made an official statement about the incident.

His wife, Kim Kardashian, was expected to appear at a New York City social event on Monday – her first public appearance since she was robbed in Paris in October – but she did not attend.

West had cancelled all remaining dates on his current tour after abandoning a Sacramento performance at the weekend.

He had performed just three songs on Saturday night, before embarking on an unscripted rant, criticising Facebook, Jay Z and Hillary Clinton.

He criticised Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg for failing to give him $53m (£42.5m) to get out of debt and said he was hurt that Jay Z failed to visit his family after last month’s robbery.

West then appeared to suggest that Jay Z employed hit men, saying: “Jay Z, I know you got killers, please don’t send them at my head.”

“Get ready to have a field day, press, because the show’s over,” he said, as he dropped his microphone and walked out.

His promoter, Live Nation, has announced refunds for all tickets from the show.

No reason has been given for the cancellation of the remaining dates.

Ace female gospel musician, Ohemaa Mercy, has vowed to take legal action on event organizers who use her songs or images to advertise for events without her management’s concern.

She disclosed this to Mike2 on Adom Entertainment Hall last Saturday.

The gospel ace who recently celebrated her 14th marriage anniversary said, most of the event organizations have been using her images and songs to promote their events without contacting her management team for approval or others.

"Most of these event organizations just use my images or songs to promote their event without contacting my management and at end of the day if  my fans don’t find me at the show, they become disappointed”, she worried."

According to her, when this act continues, it would go a long way to affect her brand.

"In fact, I am not going to take it kindly when any event organiser uses my images to promote his business without my knowledge”, she warned."

She said due to the low sale of CDs, most of their ‘strength’ was based on playing shows to earn some money.

"When a gospel musician start taking action against these people, Ghanaians will start speaking against them – that gospel musicians should not go that way, yet they are using me to gain business”, she expressed."

She has therefore called on her colleague musicians to support her course to fight against this act since some circular musicians have started taking legal actions on some event organisers.
